Mothers on the international stage

We wouldn’t ordinarily get excited about Free Trade Agreements, but made an exception this week when Mothers Ruined Gin got caught up in a media flurry around the new NZ-UK FTA. Coverage of a consignment of goods heading Down Under and to Aotearoa included a picture of the UK Minister for International Trade holding a bottle of Original Gin. Most of the attention has been on goods (including gin) that will now be able to make their way to NZ tariff-free, but we hope that we’ll be able to leverage the FTA and interest in the Frugal bottle to get our gin heading offshore soon.
